Workshops will be as follows:

8 to 9:15 a.m. - Writing for a political website: Tim Carroll

9:30 to 10:45 a.m. - Doing video reporting for a newspaper website: Rachel Canelli

11 to 12:15 p.m. - Reporting for Patch.com: Karl Smith and Jenna Ekdahl

You'll also get a chance to:

-Hear about the college's programs in journalism and communications


-See the college's high-tech journalism center where classes are held and the student newspaper is produced

This event is free and open to the public

Students coming in buses can be dropped off at the entrance to the college's Gateway Center (building 26 on the campus map). Buses should park in student parking Lot C (see campus map). Individual visitors attending Media Day can park in the visitor's parking lots or also in
Lot C.
