Special notice for journalism students transferring to Temple:

Prior to Fall 2017, completion of an associate's degree resulted in all of Temple's General Education requirements having been met.

However, beginning in Fall 2017, every student who wants to transfer to Temple from Bucks without having to take additional gen-ed courses must now demonstrate that they have completed a college-level math and lab science course. So a Journalism student who wants to transfer to Temple and have their general education requirements waived would need to take a college-level math course (MATH101, 115, 117, 118, 120, 125 or 140) and a four-credit lab science course (recommended courses are SCIE103, BIOL101, CHEM101 and PHYS106.)

Before graduating from Bucks, students must come to the Advising & Transfer Center Office to have them certify the successful completion of both courses. Failure to take these courses would likely result in students having to take several gen-ed courses at Temple.
