BURGER BOY

Write a story based on these notes from an interview with Centerville Police Sgt. Wilbur Jansen. Deadline: 30 minutes.

Several squad cars were dispatched to the Burger Boy restaurant, 1125 Gorham Avenue, at 12:50 a.m. after getting a 911 call. Turns out the two entered the place just before closing time at midnight. The two approached the cashier and pulled guns out from under their coats. One gunman ordered everyone to lie facedown on the floor, the other ordered the cashier to put all the money from the registers into a bag. Once they got the money the gunmen walked around the place taunting their victims. Jansen says the suspects put their guns to the back of each person's head and said they were going to shoot. There were six employees and two customers there; all were terrified, thinking they were going to be killed. This went on for about 20 minutes. Finally the gunmen left and drove off. The cashier then dialed 911.

Weapons appeared to be sawed-off shotguns. An undetermined amount of money was taken. No one injured. Suspects described as white males, mid 20s, wearing black or gray trench coats and ski masks. No description of their car.
