Jonathan Tannenwald is a producer with Philly.com, the website of the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News. His duties include managing the home page and main sports page during the business day. He also writes a blog on college sports, Soft Pretzel Logic, hosts the Philadelphia Inquirer's college basketball podcast, and occasionally writes about college sports for the print edition of the Inquirer. 

Prior to working at Philly.com, Jonathan worked for a range of media outlets including National Public Radio, Voice of America Radio, Washington Post Express and Philadelphia Metro.  

Jonathan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006 with a degree in Urban Studies. While at Penn, he spent four years as a sportswriter and part-time editor for the Daily Pennsylvanian, the school's student newspaper. He covered Big 5 basketball and a range of Penn sports for the print edition and the newspaper's sports weblog, to which he was appointed as one of the blog's inaugural writers in January of 2006.
